Metal Clamps for Industrial Applications

Masterflex Group Circular metal clamps and connectors are the right choice for industrial companies that want to combine secure connection technology with circular economy goals. They are robust, detachable, reusable, and, as a metallic solution, generally easy to integrate into existing recycling loops.

Wherever hoses need to be reliably connected to fittings, connectors, or flanges, metal clamps ensure stability, safety, and ease of installation. At the same time, they lay the foundation for a connection technology that is not only functionally sound but also designed with the future in mind.

Why Recyclable Metal Clamps Are Becoming Increasingly Relevant

In many industrial applications, the connection determines the reliability of the entire system. This is precisely why metal clamps play an important role: They securely fasten hoses, can be loosened again depending on the design, and can thus be integrated into reusable, service-friendly, and circular economy-oriented concepts.

The advantage of metal is obvious: Many metal clamps and other connectors are not only durable but also reusable. Furthermore, metal is generally a highly recyclable material. Take advantage of Masterflex Group Engineering Services for customized development solutions, and let us advise you on how we can further support you with our Circular Solutions.

Metal Clamps & Stainless Steel Connectors for High-Performance Hose Systems

Your production must run smoothly: reliably, cleanly, and without unnecessary downtime. Whether it’s filling, packaging, conveying, or processing food products, it’s not just the hose that matters—it’s a perfectly coordinated complete system.

The Masterflex Group supplies more than just individual components: high-quality connection technology, recyclable metal clamps, as well as ready-to-install hose assemblies and hose sets. For compressed air, vacuum, gases, liquids, and applications in electrical and electronic systems. From engineering to manufacturing to assembly—all from a single source.

Our stainless steel connectors are ideally suited for universal hoses and spiral-free smooth hoses. Choose straight screw-in fittings, T-fittings, T-screw-in fittings, or angled screw-in fittings for quick and secure installation and removal of compressed air hoses made of PE, PA, and PU.

Manufactured from corrosion-free and acid-resistant stainless steel grades 1.4301 and 1.4307, the fittings are designed for temperatures ranging from –20 °C to +120 °C and operating pressures from –0.95 to 16 bar. The VTF sealing material withstands temperatures ranging from –30 °C to +200 °C in static applications.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tubing for the Food and Pharmaceutical Industries

  • What is an FDA-approved food-grade hose?

A food-grade hose is designed for the safe transport of food, beverages, powders, and pharmaceutical products. It is made from materials approved for contact with food.

  • Why are dead spaces in tubing and connection systems a concern?

Dead spaces can harbor product residue, moisture, and germs, thereby negatively impacting hygiene, cleanability, and product safety.

  • When is an antistatic FDA-approved plastic tube a good choice?

Prevent the "Big Bang" caused by dust explosions! An antistatic FDA-approved plastic hose is particularly useful for conveying powders such as flour, as it safely dissipates electrostatic charges.

  • What is an FDA-approved plastic tube?

An FDA-compliant plastic hose is a plastic hose made from a material that meets the relevant FDA requirements for food contact. This can include a wide variety of hose types and products. Many hoses also meet other relevant compliance standards.

  • How do I choose the right hose for the food industry?

The selection depends on the fluid being pumped, the operating temperature, the pressure requirements, the flexibility requirements, and regulatory requirements. Our technical team will be happy to help you find the best solution.

  • Are there antistatic food-grade hoses?

Yes. Several products in the line feature permanent antistatic properties for safer transport of powders and granules.

  • In which industries are food-grade hoses used?

The food processing, beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, dairy processing, and packaging industries typically use food-grade hoses.

  • Are Masterflex food-grade hoses approved by the FDA?

Many products in this series comply with FDA requirements as well as EU Regulation 10/2011 regarding food contact. Please always refer to the respective product data sheet for specific approvals.
