templine heating hoses now also available in pressure-reinforced version up to 264 bar

As an extension of the templine heated hose series, Masterflex AG now also offers pressure-reinforced versions up to 264 bar and diameters up to DN 50.

Thanks to an additional fine steel braid below the standard elastic braid made of temperature-resistant yarn, with four integrated heating conductors, templine heating hoses can now withstand operating pressures of up to 264 bar. The sophisticated design of the braid layers ensures high flexibility of the heating system as well as permanent contact between the heating conductors and the hose surface. The heating conductors nestle seamlessly against the medium hose when bent and twisted (torsion). As a result, heat is distributed extremely evenly and without hot spots. This additionally guarantees the user energy savings of up to 30% and the security of overheating-free medium transport. templine heated hose systems achieve extraordinary service lives due to their design.

The range of hose diameters extends from DN 4 to DN 50 in line with the requirements of users in the chemical and petrochemical industries, the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, and the food and beverage industry. The medium hoses made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) are FDA-certified for contact with foodstuffs. Approvals for use in potentially explosive atmospheres are pending.
